Day 1
Arrive, and kit check
Into Interlaken by evening, harnesses and helmets fitted, and a briefing on which routes the week's weather actually allows.

Day 2
The Mürren via ferrata
Two and a half kilometres of cable, ladder and a 70-metre suspension bridge from Mürren to Gimmelwald, with the valley 500 m below.

Day 3
Canyoning the Grimsel
Abseils and jumps down a granite gorge cut by glacier melt, cold enough that the wetsuit is not optional.

Day 4
To Kandersteg, and Allmenalp
West to a quieter valley, then the Allmenalp via ferrata — steep, exposed and finished by cable car — with a night in a mountain inn.

Day 5
Oeschinensee and the Fründen hut
The climb from the lake to the Fründenhütte at 2,562 m, four hours up with a glacier at the top and a night in the hut.

Day 6
Down, and over to Zermatt
Off the mountain by mid-morning, then the rail crossing to Zermatt and an easy afternoon before the glacier day.

Roped on the Theodul
A guided glacier crossing in crampons and rope teams, with crevasse rescue taught on the ice before anyone walks anywhere.

The Europaweg
The high traverse above the Mattertal, across the 494-metre Charles Kuonen suspension bridge, and down to Saas-Fee for the last night.

Fly home
Post bus and train down the valley to Zürich, about four hours with two changes.
