    Arrive at Zürich

    A stop at the Lindt Home of Chocolate on the lake — a nine-metre chocolate fountain and a tasting room — then the train to Lucerne.

    Lucerne, and the transport museum

    The covered bridge and the Lion Monument in the morning, then Switzerland's most visited museum, which is aeroplanes, trains and a planetarium.

    Mount Pilatus, the golden round trip

    Boat across the lake, the world's steepest cogwheel railway up at 48 per cent, and the cable car and gondola down the other side.

    The Trümmelbach falls, ten glacier-fed cascades reached by a lift bored into the rock, then Lauterbrunnen and Staubbach's 300-metre drop.
