    The guild houses on the Limmat, then a basement collection of 500 years of timekeeping under a Bahnhofstrasse shop.

    West to Gruyères

    Three hours to a walled hilltop village of one street, with a castle at the end of it and a farmhouse inn below the walls.

    At the Gruyère dairy for the six o'clock make, when the curd is cut, then Broc for Cailler's factory and a fondue lunch after.
