Day 1
Arrive and walk the rim
Into Fira by early afternoon, then the first stretch of the caldera path to Firostefani for the sunset and an early dinner.

Day 2
Fira to Oia, the long way
The full ten-kilometre rim path with the detour up Skaros rock, three to four hours, and the bus back rather than the walk.

Day 3
Diving the volcano
Two tanks off Nea Kameni: a black basalt wall, thermal vents bubbling out of the rock, and visibility that runs to thirty metres.

Ancient Thira, and aboard
The clifftop ruins above Kamari on foot in the morning, then to Vlychada marina to board the yacht and sail out for the night.

Sail to Ios
Four hours north under sail, anchoring off Manganari for a swim, and a walk up to the Chora's windmills in the evening.

A morning crossing with a stop at Iraklia's cave, then into Naxos town, tied up under the Portara.

From Filoti to the summit at 1,004 m — three hours up through the cave where Zeus was said to be raised, and the whole archipelago from the top.
